In the history of Tenuta Fiammenga, the bond between trade, art and winemaking gave birth to a legacy in the centuries.
The deep connection among Flemish artists, established by the relationship between Pietro Jescot and Guglielmo Caccia, has defined the cultural identity of the Estate since 1596. In the same year Caccia’s daughter, Theodora, was baptized with Jescot as her godfather, marking the beginning of a history characterised by art and trade.
The Estate, proudly named ‘La Cascina Fiammenga’ in honour of the Flemish cloth merchant Pietro Jescot, who lived there in the late 1600s and whose name and essence were an inspiration, has become a place where passion for art and viticulture blend into an harmonious landscape.
The story of Jescot and Caccia, documented by records and accounts, shares the value of a tradition where art is not only seen as inspiration but as a fundamental pillar of territorial identity.

The arrival of the Sartirano family has marked a new chapter for Tenuta Fiammenga, bringing a breath of innovation while remaining faithful to the rich cultural and winemaking heritage of the region.
The Sartirano family has strengthened the bond with the land and its stories with the purpose of recovering and enhancing first the vineyards and then the farmhouse and its hospitality.
With the guidance of Paolo and Guido Sartirano, La Fiammenga has been transformed into a wine destination that looks to the future without forgetting the past. Through a replanting of vineyards and a special focus on producing wines that reflect the authenticity and quality of Monferrato, the Sartirano family has shown how it’s possible to blend tradition and innovation.
Today, Tenuta Fiammenga remains a living symbol of how history, art, and viticulture can combine to create wines that are not only expressions of a territory but also witnesses to a rich cultural heritage.
